Isaiah 66

Isa 66:1 Thus saith the LORD, The heaven [is] my throne, and the earth [is the my footstool: where [is the Temple), the house that ye build unto me? and where [is] the place of my rest, (the Shekhinah)?

the Temple),Isa 66:2 For all those [things] hath mine hand made, and all those [things] have been (discover by you), saith the LORD: but to this [man, (David Judah Layb)] will I look, [even] to [him that is] poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.

Isa 66:3 He, (David Judah Layb), that killeth an ox [is as if] he slew a man; he that sacrificeth a lamb, [as if] he cut off a dog's neck; he that offereth an oblation, [as if he offered] swine's blood; he that burneth incense, [as if] he blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations.

Isa 66:4 I also will choose their (religious) delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose [that] in which I delighted not.

Isa 66:5 Hear the word of the LORD, ye that tremble at his word; Your brethren that hated you, (David Judah Layb), that cast you out for my name's sake, said, Let the LORD be glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed.

Isa 66:6 A voice of noise from the city, a voice from the temple, a voice (of Truth) of the LORD that rendereth recompence to his enemies.

Isa 66:7 Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child, (Christ).

Isa 66:8 Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth (a Nation) in one day? [or] shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed (Zech 8:2-3), she, (Israel), brought forth her children, (Judah).

Isa 66:9 Shall I bring (Israel) to the birth, and not cause to bring (peace) forth? saith the LORD: shall I cause to bring forth Israel), and shut [the womb]? saith thy God.

Isa 66:10 Rejoice ye (in 1948) with Jerusalem, and be glad with her, all ye that love her: rejoice for joy with her, all ye that mourn for her:

Isa 66:11 That ye, (Israel),may suck, and be satisfied with the breasts of her consolations; that ye may milk out, and be delighted with the abundance of her glory.

Isa 66:12 For thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the (Christian) glory of the Gentiles like a flowing stream: then shall ye suck, ye shall be borne upon [her] sides, and be dandled upon [her] knees.

Isa 66:13 As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you; and ye shall be comforted in Jerusalem (as Capital in 1948).

Isa 66:14 And when ye see [Israel], your heart shall rejoice, and your bones shall flourish like an herb: and the hand of the LORD shall be known toward his servants, and [his] indignation toward his enemies.

Isa 66:15 For, behold, the LORD will come (to Israel in 1948) with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.

Isa 66:16 For by fire and by his sword will the LORD plead with all flesh (in the United Nations), and the slain of the LORD, (in the Muslim Ottoman Empire in the valley of Armageddon) shall be many.

Isa. 66:17 They that sanctify themselves, (the holier than thou, stoic world religions, preaching stoic self-denial), and (those, the law abiding, secular communities, who) purify themselves in the (mind's) gardens (of the God Priapus, the archetypal Self), behind (that) one (self-centered) tree (of the Knowledge of Good and Evil), in the midst (of the garden of their mind), eating swine's flesh, (as do these pagans), and (those who have placed) the abomination (that makes desolate upon the Most Holy Place, the Syrian and the Persian muslims), and the mouse (eating Palestines), shall be consumed together, (one, Hamas, against another, PLO), saith the LORD.

Isa 66:18 For I [know] their works and their thoughts: it shall come, that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come, and see my glory, (the State of Israel).

Isa 66:19 And I will set a sign, (the Cross), among them, and I will send those that escape of them unto the nations (of Europe),, [to] Tarshish (seaport or maritime region of uncertain location, Pul (Lybia), and Lud (the Palestinians of Israel), that draw the bow, [to] Tubal (Turkey), and Javan (Indonesia), [to] the isles afar off, ( America), that have not heard my fame, neither have seen (Christianity) my glory; and they shall declare (Christianity), my glory among the Gentiles.

Isa 66:20 And they, (these American Christians) shall bring all your brethren [for] an offering unto the LORD out of all nations upon horses, and in chariots, and in litters, and upon mules, and upon swift beasts, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, saith the LORD, as the children of Israel bring an offering in a clean vessel into the house of the LORD.

Isa 66:21 And I will also take of them (of Christianity) for priests [and] for Levites, saith the LORD.

Isa 66:22 For as the new heavens (of the mind) and the new earth (in social relationship), which I, (this Reality), will make, (it) shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain (in eternal life of Humanity).

Isa 66:23 And it shall come to pass, [that] from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, (Reality), saith the LORD.

Isa 66:24 And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me, (Reality), for their, (the unbelievers), worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh

Priapus
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Bronze sculpture, House of the Vettii, Pompeii
In Greek mythology, Priapus was a minor rustic fertility god of purely phallic character, protector of livestock, fruit plants, gardens and male genitalia. (Roman equivalent: Mutinus Mutunus.) He was a son of Aphrodite, with Dionysus, or with Adonis (according to a scholiast on Lycophron, noted by Kerenyi 1951). At Helicon in Boeotia, the travel-writer Pausanias pointed out a statue of Priapus that was "worth seeing":

Mouse - Heb. 'akhbar, swift digger"), properly the dormouse, the field-mouse (1 Sam. 6:4). In Lev. 11:29, Isa. 66:17 this word is used generically, and includes the jerboa (Mus jaculus), rat, hamster (Cricetus), which, though declared to be unclean animals,...
..... were eaten by the Arabs, and are still eaten by the Bedouins. It is said that no fewer than twenty-three species of this group ('akhbar = Arab. ferah) of animals inhabit Palestine.

God "laid waste" the people of Ashdod by the terrible visitation of field-mice, which are like locusts in their destructive effects (1 Sam. 6:4, 11, 18). Herodotus, the Greek historian, accounts for the destruction of the army of Sennacherib (2 Kings 19:35) by saying that in the night thousands of mice invaded the camp and gnawed through the bow-strings, quivers, and shields, and thus left the Assyrians helpless. (See SENNACHERIB.)
