The application of the hand to organizing the genealogy throughout Genesis is a great companion and audio-visual aid to the lesson plan which gives a literal meaning to Hands-on student involvement.

Because it can be demonstrated to augment the written text of the Genealogy so thoroughly, a companion text to the Origami Bible has also been published.

Genesis chapter 49 is an excellent example of some of the clarity that comes from organization where the Bible student sees collected on the one page all the grandchildren of Abraham as described in Genesis 35:22- 36.  In the center of the graphic are the names of the seven women who founded the children of Israel, a rather vague and clouded detail most readers fail to bring together and see as an important group of women on the stories. Who could name these women before reading yhem off the graphic?
