Project Oriented Instruction is a complement to rather than a replacement of traditional pedagogue.  It is meant to be used as a break in the traditional routine.  The projects are a summary or overview of standard lessons taught from the textbook.  Project oriented teaching is a behavioral control methodology for disruptive classrooms, and, generally, interesting attention-getting lesson presentations with mnemonic value that aid student retention among other benefits to the learning process.

But, they also lend themselves to an orderly presentation of the material by maintaining an on-going replication in the organization of the subject matter.

To carry through with this approach, offering students Order in through these presentations, teachers can expect and ask for Order out from students who respond to questions and tests.

Teachers are encouraged to learn how to sketch the universally applied KOFH Graphic Organizer when presenting other material to the class, especially from the blackboard.  Research has shown that, by re-enforcing the order in which subject matter is "chunked" together, student memory is enhanced.  The few example on this page are somewhat creative ways of demonstrating other concepts in Genetics, in addition to those found on the graphic organizers in these products.

These educational Graphic Organizers are directed at "getting it into their heads."
The repetitious presentations work like Loci Memory schemes, where the students begin to remember the place where the Key idea was located, and most of the complementary Key words associated with it.
Teachers will want to capitalize on this benefit.
