Project Oriented Instruction is a complement to rather than a replacement of traditional pedagogue. It is meant to be
used as a break in the traditional routine. The projects are a summary or overview of standard lessons taught from the
textbook. Project oriented teaching is a behavioral control methodology for disruptive classrooms, and, generally,
interesting attention-getting lesson presentations with mnemonic value that aid student retention among other benefits
to the learning process.
But, they also lend themselves to an orderly presentation of the material by maintaining an on-going
replication in the organization of the subject matter.
To carry through with this approach,
offering students Order in through these presentations, teachers can expect and ask for Order out from students
who respond to questions and tests.
