The details of this chapter 14 are cued from notations used in marking the skeletal anatonomy of the "Hand of God,"or the "Word." This procedure was the responsiblity of Jewish priests, called The Kohanim.

On the knunckles of the metacarpals of the palm, the forces of Chedorlaomer are noted:

Gen. 14:1 And it came to pass in the days of (1) Amraphel king of Shinar, (2) Arioch king of Ellasar, (3) Chedorlaomer king of Elam, and (4) Tidal king of nations;
Gen. 14:2 That these (four) made war with (1) Bera king of Sodom, and with (2) Birsha king of Gomorrah, (3) Shinab king of Admah, and (4) Shemeber king of Zeboiim, and (5) the king of Bela, which is Zoar, (and, Lot, brother of Abram: [Gen14:12])
Gen. 14:3 All these were joined together in the vale of Siddim, which is the salt sea.
Gen. 14:4 Twelve years they served Chedorlaomer, and in the thirteenth year they rebelled.
