A PUZZLE FOR THE CAREFUL READER:
Genesis 36:1-3 states that Esau had three wives, yet, as shown, the text of scripture reports six women and Esau, himself, as the parents of the children enumerated.

The Three Mothers of all Edom, the wives of Esau:
Gen. 36:1-3   Now these are the generations of Esau, who is Edom. Esau took his wives of the daughters of Canaan; Adah the daughter of Elon the Hittite, and Aholibamah the daughter of Anah the daughter of Zibeon the Hivite; And Bashemath Ishmael's daughter, sister of Nebajoth.

The seven (7) sons of Eliphaz:
Gen. 36:11, 12, 15,16   And the sons of Eliphaz were (1) Teman, (2) Omar, (3) Zepho, and (4) Gatam, and (5) Kenaz.
And Timna was concubine to Eliphaz Esau's son; and she bare to Eliphaz (7) Amalek: these were the sons of Adah Esau's wife.
These were dukes of the sons of Esau: the sons of Eliphaz the firstborn son of Esau; (1) duke Teman, (2) duke Omar, (3) duke Zepho, (4) duke Gatam, (5) duke Kenaz, (6) duke Amalek, and (7) Duke Korah: these (seven) are the (7) dukes that came of Eliphaz in the land of Edom; these were the sons of Adah.

A HAND FULL OF THE FIVE SONS OF ESAU:
Gen. 36:4, 5,18   And Aholibamah bare (1) Jeush, and (2) Jaalam, and (3) Korah: these are the sons of Esau, which were born unto him in the land of Canaan. And these are the sons of Aholibamah Esau's wife; (1) duke Jeush, (2) duke Jaalam, (3) duke Korah: these were the dukes that came of Aholibamah the daughter of Anah, Esau's wife. And Adah bare to Esau (4) Eliphaz; and Bashemath bare (5) Reuel;

THE CHILDREN & GRANDCHILDREN THROUGH AHOLIBAMAH & BASEMATH:
Gen. 36:5   And Aholibamah bare (1) Jeush, and (2) Jaalam, and (3) Korah: these are the sons of Esau, which were born unto him in the land of Canaan.
Gen. 36:18   And these are the (three) sons of Aholibamah Esau’s wife; (1) duke Jeush, (2) duke Jaalam, (3) duke Korah: these were the dukes that came of Aholibamah the daughter of Anah, Esau’s wife.
Gen. 36:13   And these are the sons of Reuel; (4) Nahath, and (5) Zerah, (6)Shammah, and (7) Mizzah: these were the (four) sons of Bashemath, Esau’s wife.
