(The Christ is Truth, itself, an ideal...)
5 Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?
6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way (men ought be), the Truth (about our Reality), and the life (eternal, for our species): no man cometh unto the Father, (almighty Reality), but by me, (the truth).
7 If ye had known me, (the truth), ye should have known my Father, (our Reality), also: and from henceforth ye know him, (almighty Reality),
and have seen him, (the Nature of our Father).
8 Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, (speaking only of the truth), Philip???... he that hath seen me, (the Truth
about our inter-personal and social realities), hath seen the Father, (the reality
of our existence); and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father, (when you have
seen the Truth)?
10 thou not that I am (the Truth about our behavioral realties) in the Father (who IS our very existence). And the Father, (the reality of our existence, is God of the living, ie; Truth), in me. The words that I speak, (the truth), unto you, I speak not of myself: but the Father, (the Reality
wherein we exist), that dwelleth in me (as Truth), he doeth
the works (which precede that truth).
11 Believe me that I, (Truth), am in the Father, (Reality), and the Father, (God of the living), in me, (we ARE congruent, one to the other):
12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, (Truth), the (good) works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall
he do; because I go unto my Father, (as a martyr).
13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, (Truth), that will
I, (Truth), do, that the Father, (the Reality wherein we exist),
may be glorified in the Son.
14 If ye shall ask any thing in (the name of Truth), my name, I will do it.
15 If ye love me, (Truth), keep my commandments.
16 And I will pray (or desire that) the Father (in your future reality), and he shall give you (a new testament of these events),
another Comforter, that he, (The New Testament) may abide with you for ever;
17 (The New Testament), Even the Spirit of truth, (the Holy Ghost of Truth, crucified); whom the world (outside my faithful)
cannot receive, because it seeth him not, (the Spirit of truth, the Holy Ghost of Truth, crucified), neither knoweth him:
but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you (the Spirit of truth, the Holy Ghost of Truth, crucified).
18 I, (the Spirit of truth, the Holy Ghost of Truth, crucified), will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you (in The
Word).
19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more, (crucified); but ye see me, (the Spirit of truth, the Holy Ghost of
Truth): because, (as Truth), I live, ye, (in the Spirit of truth), shall live also.
20 At that day ye shall know that (the Holy Ghost of Truth), I am, (congruent) in (the reality of) my Father, and ye, (also
in truth), in me, and I, (the Holy Ghost of Truth, crucified), in you.
21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that, (in a social or moral sense), loveth me, (Truth): and he
that loveth me, (Truth), shall be loved of my Father, (in a social or moral sense), and I, (Truth), will, (in a social or
moral sense attend to his welfare), love him, and (in the Spirit of truth), will manifest myself to him.
22 Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?
23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If, (in a social or moral sense), a man love me, (Truth), he will keep my words (found
in The New Testament): and (the real world), my Father, (in a social or moral sense) will love him, and we, (our Father, almighy
Reality, and his image in his son, the Truth), will come unto him, and make our abode (in the Spirit of truth) with him.
24 He that (in a social or moral sense) loveth me not, (Truth), keepeth not my sayings (found in The New Testament): and the
word (found in The New Testament) which ye hear is not mine, but the Father’s (image) which sent me.
25 These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.
26 But the Comforter, (The New Testament), which is the Holy Ghost, (the Spirit of truth, the Ghost of Truth, crucified),
whom the Father will send (in 54 AD) in my name, he, (The New Testament), shall teach you all things, and bring all things
(that you observed and heard when I was with you) to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled,
neither let it be afraid.
28 Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you, (the Spirit of truth, the Holy Ghost of Truth, crucified).
If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father, (Almighty Reality), is greater than
I, (in his image, Truth).
29 And now I have told you before it, (the Comforter of The New Testament), come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye
might believe.
30 Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.
31 But that the world may know that (in Truth), I love the Father; and as the Father, (by his scripture), gave me commandment,
even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.
