The format of this 21st Century Bible is in the standard King James Version of the Bible. That translation
has been augmented with explanatory brackets following every interpetative passage. The precedure of applying comments
directly in the text of the scriptures affords immediate readability and de facto "in context" statements as regards the interpretations
and explanations rendered.
This format is specifically intended to avoid the traditional interpretative approach which is considered deficient in
a number of ways. There will be no absence of explanations for those items which are usually passed over, avoided, or annodated
with long and less than satisfactory comments in an appendex. Symbolism, in particular, will always be identified directly
and specifically with reference to symbolic dictionaries where possible. Those literal passages which are to be interpretated
as metaphor will contain the poetic identity directly within the text, in order that the reader can compare, on a one-to-one
basis, the compatibility of such a interpretation.
Hebrew/Greek/Latin vocabulary is often bracketed after certain KJV word choices in order to highlite the extended meanings
of other available synonyms possible. And, where needed, supporting Bible exegesis will be referred with chapter and verse.
This presentation is a work-in-progress. As chapters are added, they will become available to our member readers.
