Both Elijah and Jesus ascended into Heaven before witnesses.

Both Elijah and Jesus troubled Israel.

Both Elijah and Jesus were hunted down by the Jewish authorities.

Both Elijah and Jesus hid 3 days, Elijah in a cave, Jesus in the Temple.

Both Elijah and Jesus pondered in the wilderness 40 days.

Both Elijah and Jesus walked on the water.

Both wrote letters to people on Earth after they had ascended.

Both appointed a successor, Elisha by Elijah, and Peter, by Christ.

Both were hunted by the Jewish authorities.

Both gave a successor the power to raise the dead.

Both gave a successor a symbolic authority, the cloak to one, the keys to the other.

Both asked that the this "cup" be taken from them.

Both had miraculous births.

Both multiplied the meal for many people they feed in the crowd.

Both destroyed the pagan worshipers and priests, one Baal, the other, the Pantheon of Rome.

Both were promised faithfulness three times, Elisha in the former and Peter, in the latter.

Zech. 2:10 Sing and rejoice, (Israel), O daughter of Zion, (i.e.; the Scriptures: [Ps 87]): for, lo, (in 1948 AD), I come, and I will dwell (soon thereafter) in the midst of thee [Zech. 12:8], saith the LORD.

Zech. 2:1 I lifted up mine eyes again, and looked, and behold a man with a measuring line in his hand.

Zech. 2:2 Then said I, Whither goest thou? And he said unto me, To measure (the new) Jerusalem, to see what is the breadth thereof (is 1500 miles), and what is the length thereof, (1500 miles: Rev 21:15).

Zech. 2:3 And, behold, the angel that talked with me (of this new Jerusalem), went forth, and another angel (saint John: [Rev 21:1-2]) went out to meet him, (in 380 AD).

Zech. 2:4 And said unto him, "Run, speak to this young man," (Jesus:Rev 21:3), saying, (the new) Jerusalem shall be inhabited as towns, (many towns, in many nations of Western Europe) without walls for the multitude of men and cattle therein:

Zech. 2:5 For I, (YHVH), saith, the LORD, (Jesus Christ), will be unto her a wall of (Universal Christian), fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her.

Zech. 2:6 Ho, ho, come forth, (you Jews of the Holocaust to come), and flee from the land of the north, (i.e.; Western Europe: [Zech 2:8]), saith the LORD: for I have spread you abroad as (if you were) the four winds [Rev 7:1] of the heaven, saith the LORD.

Zech. 2:7 Deliver thyself, O Zion, that (now) dwellest (in this second diaspora) with the daughter of (ancient) Babylon, (which is, in Western Europe, the beast of the economic system of Mammon:[Dan 3]).

Zech. 2:8 For thus saith the LORD, (Jesus Christ), of (Christian) hosts; After the glory (of the Statehood of Israel in 1948 AD: [Zech 12:10]) hath he sent me (Jesus, who is the Elijah), unto the nations which spoiled you, "I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem": [Jer 30:3,7,10-11; Isaiah 28:21; Zech 12:9]) for he that toucheth you, toucheth the apple of his, (YHVH), eye.

Zech. 2:9 For, behold, I will shake mine hand upon them, (Rev. 1:16 ..."in his right hand seven stars:" [the seven psychic "angels;" Id, Libido, Ego, Anima, Self, Superego, Harmony]), and they, (in Western Europe), shall be a spoil to their (previous) servants, (the Americans: [Jer 30:11]): and ye shall know, (in 1945 AD), that the LORD, (YHVH), of hosts hath sent me, (Elijah, the Christ).

[Zech 14:7]), and they shall be my people, (Hebrew-Christians, all:[Zech 14:17]): and I, (Elijah The Christ: [Rev 21:22]), will dwell in the midst of thee (Rev 22:2-3], and thou shalt know, (Rev 22:4), that the LORD, (Elijah, The Christ: [Mal 4:5-6]), of (multitudinous 1.44 Billion Christian) hosts hath sent me (Elijah, The Christ: [Mal 4:5-6]), unto thee.

Zech. 2:12 And the LORD, (YHVH), shall inherit Judah his portion, (the State of Israel), in the holy land, and (Judah) shall choose (in 1980 AD) Jerusalem, (capital of Israel: [Dan 11-13], again.

Zech. 2:13 Be silent (in debate of this prophesied return, in 1948, of the Holy People to the lands promised), O all flesh (throughout Christianity and Islam), before the LORD, (YHVH): for he is raised up, (his rest is over: [Jeremiah 25:29-31]), out of his holy habitation.
