Matthew 24.4-14:
THE FIRST GENERAL OVERVIEW OF THE FUTURE:
Jesus starts off his answer with a series of troubled and turbulent events, in no particular order. These events happened,
apparently, between 32 and 604 AD, and include wars, earthquakes, and impostors, and in particular, the DOCTRINE OF THE
TRINITY.
Matt. 24:4 And Jesus answered and said unto them (because they [erroneously] thought
that the kingdom of God should immediately appear [even as many might, in future times, also attempt to understand
his words]: [Luke 19:11]), Take heed (between now and the destruction and the Fall of Rome), that
no man deceive you.
Matt. 24:5 For many shall come in my name, (even before the Fall of
Rome), saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many (in the early days of my Christianity, Gnosticism, Arianism,
and Christ proclaiming, pagan mythological analogies).
Matt. 24:6 And ye shall hear, (after the days
of Rome, 475 AD), of wars (with barbarians) and rumours of wars (even Mongolian invasions):
see that ye be not troubled (that the day appears delayed): for all these things must come to pass,
but the end, (the Day of the Lord), is not yet.
Matt. 24:7 For (even during
the 1000 years of Dark Ages, Arab) nation shall rise against (Islamic) nation, and (Arab)
kingdom against (Islamic) kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences (of Bubonic plague),
and earthquakes (separated as they are by time) in divers places.
Matt. 24:8 All
these are (but) the (very) beginning of sorrows (for the Jewish people in the long
Diaspora to come).
Matt. 24:9 Then, (after that initial Diaspora of 70 AD, in the days of Nero, and
again for ten years, during the reign of Diocletian, 303-313 AD: [Rev 2:9]), shall they, (the pagans of the
Roman Empire), deliver you (Christians) up (to Caesar), to be afflicted, and shall
(even the Jews who oppose Christianity run you through: [John 16:2]), kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations,
(Pagan and Jewish), for my name's sake, (Christianity).

Matt. 24:10 And then, (in those days of the church age of Smyrna: [Rev 2:8], before the Roman Edict
of Toleration, 313 AD), shall many (Jews) be offended (by the large number of conversions
to Christ, consequently, they shall put you, [Hebrew-Christians], out of the synagogues: [John 16:2]), and
(Jews, by Talmud re-interpretations of the 3rd century), shall betray [Hebrew-Christians] and one
another, and (Christians, Pagans and Jews) shall hate one another, (he whosoever killeth you, [Hebrew-Christians],
will think that he doeth God service: [John 16:2])
Matt. 24:11 And many false prophets, (Arians,
and Gnostics, and even Christ-proclaiming sects), shall rise (just prior to the days before Emperor Constantine's
conversion to Christianity, 324 AD), and (advocates of Christian heresies, like Arius, the presbyter of Alexandria,
and pagan proponents such as Licinius of Chrysopolis) shall deceive many (but, at the Council of Nicaea,
313 AD, Trinity, "my new name," shall prevail: [Rev 3:12]).
Matt. 24:12 And because iniquity, (prior
to the Fall of the Empire, 475 AD), shall abound, the love of many (for Rome) shall wax cold.
Matt.
24:13 But he that shall endure unto (590 AD), the end (of Roman anarchy and chaos, until
the reign of GREGORY I, 590-604 AD, who shall represent to the Roman world of Western Europe a church that will still be identified
with the empire), the same shall be saved (from the persecution of Jews, and by the elimination of Paganism/Astrology
during the formation of the Holy Roman, Catholic, Apostolic Church decreed by Theodocius).
Matt. 24:14 And
this gospel, (the New Testament Word), of the kingdom shall be preached in all the (Roman) world
for a witness unto all (European) nations; and then shall the end (of days) come (thereafter).
