Jer 7

Tophet is used only with reference to these verses as a Hell

Archaeological Evidence
Analysis of remains within Tophet reveals that internment of urns was regular and individual, i.e. not en masse. From the 7th to 6th centuries BCE the deceased were newborn babies while those dating from the 4th century BCE were mostly up to 3 years old. There are also, right from the beginning of Tophet, burnt remains of animals, and these account for 30% of the remains from the early period. From the 4th century BCE animal remains account for only 10% of the total. In both periods there are examples of urns with a mix of human and animal remains.

Analysis also reveals that, overall, 80% of the human remains are from newborn babies or foetuses.

Jer. 7:31 And they have built the high places of Tophett, (hell), which is in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire (of Abortions); which I commanded them not, neither came it into my heart.

Jer. 7:32 Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that it shall no more be called Tophett, (hell), nor the valley of the son of Hinnom, but the valley of (Abortion) slaughter: for they shall bury in Tophett, (hell), till there be no (room or) place.

Jer. 7:34 Then will I cause to cease from the cities of Judah, and from the streets of Jerusalem, the voice of mirth, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride: for the land (first by Babylon, then by Rome) shall be desolate.
