A number of years after his ascension in the windstorm Elijah is still alive and active as a prophet, this time to the king of Judah. Because of the wicked course taken by King Jehoram of Judah, Elijah writes him a letter.

But note that the message begins with "Thus says Yahweh," implying that Elijah is present and talking to God), "God of your father David"... rather than the more usual ..."in the name of Yahweh the God of Israel."
Whereas this expresses Jehovah's condemnation, which is fulfilled shortly thereafter, 2Ch 21:12-15, it suggests the Trinity in the greeting which esentially claims the writing comes directly from God.
