(See: Old Testament verses compared to New Testament Verses)

Rev. 16:17 And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air (waves); and there came a great voice, (the roaring lion of Judah, from the root of David: [Rev 5:5]), out of the temple of heaven, (The Scriptures), from the throne (of scripture, itself, the Bible), saying, It is done, (the mystery of God is finished: [Rev 10:7]).

Rev. 16:18 And there were voices (within the churches, the synagogues, and the mosques), and thunders (of protest from the paid clergies), and lightnings (of discourse across the communities of scripturally based religions); and there was a great earthquake (revealed in scripture), such (an understanding of the man-made world) as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake (of jolting insight), and so great (in its world wide implication).

Rev. 16:19 And (Jerusalem), the great city (of Western Religion) was divided into three parts, (Jewish, Christian, and Moslem), and the (denominational) cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon, (the mother of all pagan practices), came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.

Rev. 16:20 And every island (of cult and sect of pagan practice) fled away, and the mountains (of institutionalized religion) were not found.

Rev. 16:21 And there fell upon men a great hail (of insight) out of heaven, (as scripture shows Christ duplicating all the experiences of The Elijah), every (verse in 1Kings 18 etal), stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God (in their denial) because of the plague of the hail (in the form of the Old Testament writings themselves); for the plague (upon all previous human understanding) thereof was exceeding great, (Zech 12:1-5).

The Banquet: [Rev. 19:17].
According to Ascensio Isai, viii. 26, ix. 18, xi. 40, the righteous on the arrival of the Messiah: [Rev 5:5], receive in the seventh heaven, (the seventh state of the Church, Laocidea, [Rev 3:14]): Christian Humanism: [Rev 1:20]), garments of light (concerning Scripture: [Luke 24:32;45; 1Kings 18), as well as crowns to Christ as The Elijah and thrones to the Jewish priests who see this light, (Rev 3:18).

No small part in the future bliss is played by the eating of the heavenly bread, (bread of the Eucharist) or (hidden) manna:[Rev 2:17]

Sibyllines, Promium, 87; ?ag. 12b; Tan., Beshalla?, ed. Buber, p. 21; comp. "the mysterious food," II Esd. ix. 19]), the ambrosial milk and honey (Sibyllines, ii. 318, iii. 746), and, according to R. Joshua b. Levi, "the wine, (from The Elijah Cup), prepared [from the first verse of scripture], In the beginning of the world" (Ber. 34b; comp. Matt. xxvi. 29).

The very name for the highest bliss of the future is "the banquet" ([Rev. 19:17]; Abot iii. 16), which is the same as "sitting at the (Show-bread) table of the suffering Messiah" (Rev. xix. 9; Luke xiii. 28-29, xxii. 30, et al.).

It is called in rabbinical literature "se'uddat ha-liwyatan" (the banquet of the leviathan, [but in Christianity, the Table of the Last Supper, Eucharist, where Jesus drinks the 5th cup of wine, sharing with all present]),that is to say, in accordance with Job xl. 30 (A. V. xli. 6) the "ha-barim, or pious ones, (Rabbi, priest/minister, Mullah in the future) shall hold their meal over it: [Rev. 19:17]"
