The names of the various species in the ascent of man are represented in the Book of Genesis by eponyms. This
list details the ascent and evolution from @ 7 million years ago, until just 40,000 years ago, the appearance of Modern Homo
sapiens.
Thus, the Genesis report roughly corresponds to our present rather
dubious understanding of the paleonotological record concerning the evolution of Modern Homo sapiens as he was derived from
the roots of earlier species.
