THE SECOND GENERAL OVERVIEW OF THE FUTURE: Matthew 24.15-22
Jesus now warns his disciples to flee when they see the abomination of desolation. But the prophecy is on two
levels. It refers to the invasion and occuption of the Holy Lands by the muslims who build the abomination, but also
the long history persecution that was to come at the hands of Western Europe.
Matt. 24:15 When ye therefore shall see (finished, in 690 AD), the abomination,
(the Dome of the Rock upon the site) of desolation (of the Temple), as spoken of by Daniel the prophet:
[Dan. 12:11], stand in the holy place, whoso readeth, let him understand:
Matt. 24:16 Then
let them which (still) be in Judaea, (Christian and Jews remaining into the 7th century AD), flee
into the mountains (as have most of the Jews in the diaspora that already had occurred in 70 AD):
Matt. 24:17
Let him which is on the housetop, (hiding), not come down to take any thing out of his house:
Matt.
24:18 Neither let him which is in the field (at work) return back to take his clothes.
Matt.
24:19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days (when you and baby
must die or acknowledge Allah)!
Matt. 24:20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on
the sabbath day, (for you will be easily sought out at the Temple grounds):
Matt. 24:21 For then,
(during this long Diaspora that so begins), shall be great tribulation (for Jews, culminating in The Holocaust),
such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, (1942-45 AD, 31/2 years), no, nor
ever shall be, ("Never again").
Matt. 24:22 And except those (1260 days, 3.5 years, 1942-45
AD: [Rev 11:11]), should be shortened, there should no (Jewish) flesh be saved: but for the
(Jewish) elect's sake, (that my promise to Abraham come to pass), those days shall be shortened.
