Dan. 8:13 Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain saint which spake, "How long
(from 320 BC) shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice (which would cease again in 70AD), and the transgression
of desolation, (i.e.; the muslim Dome of the Rock which would appear in 690 AD on the Jewish Temple grounds), to give
both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot?
Dan. 8:14 And he said unto me, "Unto two thousand and three hundred "days," (from Ptolemy I conquest of Judea in 320
BC); then shall the sanctuary be cleansed,", (i.e.; 2300-320 BC = 1980 AD, the return of Jerusalem to the Jews).
Dan. 8:15 And it came to pass, when I, even I Daniel, had seen the vision, and sought for the meaning, then, behold,
there stood before me as the appearance of a man.
Dan. 8:16 And I heard a mans voice between the banks of Ulai, which called, and said, Gabriel, make this man to understand
the vision.
Dan. 8:17 So he came near where I stood: and when he came, I was afraid, and fell upon my face: but he said unto me,
Understand, O son of man: for at the time of the end shall be the vision.
Dan. 8:18 Now as he was speaking with me, I was in a deep sleep on my face toward the ground: but he touched me, and
set me upright.
Dan. 8:19 And he said, Behold, I will make thee know what shall be in the last end of the indignation: for at the time
appointed the end shall be.
Dan. 8:20 The ram which thou sawest having two horns are the kings of Media and Persia, (who shall overthrow the
Empire of Babylonia wherein you now reside).
Dan. 8:21 And the rough goat, (i.e.; Alexander the Great), is the king of (the world empire to follow Persia-Media),
Grecia, and the great horn (of world power) that is between his eyes is the first king.
Dan. 8:22 Now that being broken, (with the mysterious death of Alexander inside the Temple of Nebocaddezzar), whereas
four (of his generals) stood up for it, (i.e.; control over the whole worldly Greek Empire), four kingdoms shall
stand up out of the nation, (not one), but not in his power, (Alexander).
Dan. 8:23 And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a (other) king,
(the governor of Syria, MUAWIYA I, a Sunni who came to power after the murder of Ali, in 666AD: [Dan 11:36]), of fierce
countenance, and understanding dark sentences (from the Koran) shall stand up.
Dan. 8:24 And, (this other kingdom of MUAWIYA I), his (military) power shall be mighty, but not by his
own power, (but through the religious power of Islam): and he shall destroy wonderfully (through religious conversions
that corrupt the vanquished, long after), and shall prosper (in power), and practise (Islamic religion), and
shall destroy the mighty (militarily), and the holy people, (in conquest of Israel to include the building of the
abomination of the Dome of the Rock on the grounds of the Temple of God: [see Daniel 12:11-13]).
Dan. 8:25 And through his (religious) policy (of Islam) also he shall cause craft (in the writing of
the Koran to be accomplished) to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace (in mandatory
conversions to Islam and/or co-existence with Christians and Jews who stop proselytizing), shall destroy many (who
are raised in totally Islamic cultures): he shall also stand up against (Christ), the Prince of princes, (denying
that he is the Son of God); but he shall be broken without hand (by means of religious conversion to Christianity).
Dan. 8:26 And the vision of the evening and the morning which was told is true: wherefore shut thou up the vision; for
it shall be for many days.
Dan. 8:27 And I Daniel fainted, and was sick certain days; afterward I rose up, and did the kings business; and I was
astonished at the vision, but none understood it.
